The Prinsengracht Concert 2015 was held on Saturday 22 August. ING was again one of the proud sponsors of this prestigious open-air concert.

2015 프린젠그라흐트 콘서트가 8월 22일 토요일에 열렸다. ING는 다시금 이 유명한 야외 콘서트의 후원사 중 하나였다.

Tharaud headlined this year's 34th edition of the Prinsengracht Concert. And he looked forward to providing the thousands of spectators on and along the canal with a wonderful evening of music: "It is a great honour for me to perform during the Prinsengracht Concert and to 'celebrate' it with all the spectators. It will be a concert full of surprises, which I hope does justice to this event."

Tharaud & Friends
During the Prinsengracht Concert, Tharaud performed with several musician friends: France's hugely popular singer Juliette, Belgian clarinettist Ronald Van Spaendonck, who is seen as one of the best clarinettists of his generation, and Alberto Garcia, one of France's best-known flamenco singers. In addition, Tharaud performed with Dutch cello talent Harriet Krijgh (1991), one of the most promising young cellists of today. Krijgh has garnered many prizes, including first prize at both the Princess Christina Concours and the Amsterdam Cello Biennale. In Austria, Krijgh has her own annual chamber music festival, 'Harriet and Friends', at Burg Feistritz.

프린젠그라흐트 콘서트에서 타로는 프랑스의 유명한 가수 줄리엣, 그와 동세대의 최고 클라리넷 연주자들 중의 한 명인 벨기에의 로날드 판 스파엔동크, 프랑스의 가장 유명한 플라멩코 가수들 중 한 명인 알베르토 가르시아 등 여러 뮤지션 친구들과 협연했다. 타로는 오늘날 가장 유망한 젊은 첼리스트 중 한 명인 네덜란드의 재능 있는 첼리스트 하리에트 크레이그(1991년생)와도 협연했다. 크레이그는 크리스티나 공주 콩쿠르와 암스테르담 첼로 비엔날레 모두 우승한 것을 포함하여 많을 상을 받았다. 오스트리아 파이스트리츠 궁전에서 크레이그는 자신의 연례 실내악 페스티벌인 <하리에트와 친구들>을 운영한다.

Programme
On the programme were works by the likes of Poulenc, Ravel, Fauré and Satie, along with French chanson and Spanish flamenco music.

프로그램에는 풀랑크, 라벨, 포레, 사티 등의 작품들, 프랑스의 샹송, 스페인의 플라멩코 음악이 포함되었다.

As the supporting act for this year's Prinsengracht Concert, successful mezzo-soprano Rosanne van Sandwijk started warming up the audience at 8 pm with music by Schubert, Mahler and Schumann. She was accompanied by pianist Michael Nündel.

About Alexandre Tharaud
As the son of an operetta producer and singer, Alexandre Tharaud received piano lessons from the age of five and entered the Paris Conservatory when he was fourteen. After lessons from the likes of Nikita Magaloff and Leon Fleisher, the French pianist embarked on a lightning career. Tharaud has given solo recitals all around the world, such as at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires and the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and at festivals such as the BBC Proms and La Roque d'Anthéron.

오페레타 제작자와 가수의 아들인 알렉상드르 타로는 5세 때부터 피아노 레슨을 받았으며 14세였을 때 파리 음악원에 입학했다. 니키타 마갈로프, 레온 플라이셔 등을 사사한 프랑스 피아니스트는 빛나는 경력에 착수했다. 타로는 부에노스아이레스 콜론 극장, 워싱턴 DC 케네디 센터 등 전 세계에서 독주회를 가지며 BBC 프롬스, 라 로크 당테롱 같은 페스티벌에도 참가했다.

He has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra.

In 2012, Alexandre Tharaud played the talented student of two piano teachers in Michael Haneke's celebrated film Amour.

Tradition since 1981
The Prinsengracht Concert is an outdoor concert with classical music that has been held in August every year since 1981 on the Prinsengracht (Prince's Canal) in Amsterdam. The concert is staged in the open air on a pontoon in front of the Pulitzer Hotel. The concert is free, with the canal subsequently crowded with boats full of spectators.

프린젠그라흐트 콘서트는 1981년부터 암스테르담의 프린젠그라흐트(프린스 운하)에서 매년 8월에 열리는, 클래식 음악과 함께하는 야외 콘서트이다. 콘서트는 퓰리처 호텔 앞의 철창에 있는 야외에서 상연된다. 콘서트는 무료이며 운하는 관람객으로 가득 찬 보트로 뒤덮여 있다.

The concert has been broadcast on television by AVROTROS since 1984.

이 콘서트는 1984년부터 아브로트로스 방송국에 의해 TV로 방영되었다.

True to tradition, the Prinsengracht Concert was closed with the song 'On the Amsterdam Canals'.
