Lech Dudzik
A sound engineer specialising in classical music, Lech Dudzik was born in 1949, in Bydgoszcz. After attending Bydgoszcz Secondary School of Music, where he was taught piano by Zygmunta Morska, he enrolled on the Music Engineering Department of the State College of Music in Warsaw, graduating in 1975 from the phonography class of Antoni Karużas. Since 1975, he has been associated with Polish Radio, for which he has engineered hundreds of broadcasts and recordings, many of which have been released on disc. He is regarded as one of the foremost sound engineers in Europe. In 1991, Dudzik and Gabriela Blicharz formed a duo that went on to become an ideal partnership in concert halls and recording studios for both young musicians embarking on their career and the greatest musical stars. With his extensive knowledge and experience in musical interpretation, he distinguishes every musician's artistic personality with exceptional accuracy and is capable of effectively motivating all performing artists. With each project he undertakes, he demonstrates that the engineering of music is an art. Lech Dudzik has worked for such labels as Decca, EMI, Virgin Classic, RCA Victor, Accord, Olimpia, Aperto, Claves, Pavana, CPO, Wergo, Victor JVC Japan, Pony Canyon, Etcetera, Pickwick, Conifer Records, BMG, CD Accord, Sony, Opus 111, Harmonia Mundi, Chandos, Hanssler, ECM, Glossa, International Classical Artists and Mirare. He has received many prizes and distinctions, including the UNESCO International Composers' Tribune in Paris, High Fidelity magazine's 'Critics Choice', the Preis der Deutsches Schallplatten Kritik, the Académie Charles Cros's 'Grand Prix du Disque', a 'Diapason d'Or', Le Monde de la Musique/Telerama's 'Disque du Choc', Studio magazine's 'Record of the Year' and Polish Radio's 'Gold Microphone'. For many years, he has helped produce recordings of Chopin, including the chronicles of the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition, the chronicles, broadcasts and record releases of the International Festival 'Chopin and his Europe' and also the Fryderyk Chopin Institute's well-known series 'The Real Chopin'.

Janusz Olejniczak
Janusz Olejniczak is one of the most outstanding contemporary Chopin interpreters. Born in Wrocław, he was the youngest prize-winner of the 8th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition (1970) and also won a prize in the Alfredo Casella International Competition in Naples. He has performed in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australia, in the most famous concert halls, such as the Berlin Philharmonic, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Salle Pleyel, Suntory Hall, Lincoln Center, Tonhalle in Düsseldorf and Concertgebouw. He has been a juror of piano competitions many times and given masterclasses abroad – in Europe, Canada, Japan and Colombia. Besides the core Classical repertoire, he also performs Polish contemporary music (incl. Lutosławski, Górecki and Kilar). He has played with orchestra under the direction of Witold Rowicki, Stanisław Wisłocki, Kazimierz Kord, Antoni Wit, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Wojciech Michniewski, Tadeusz Strugała, Charles Dutoit, Andrzej Borejko, Grzegorz Nowak, Jacek Kaspszyk and others. For many years, he has also worked with Marek Moś and the Aukso Orchestra. He was one of the first performers of Chopin's music on period instruments (Erard and Pleyel) and is a regular guest of the festival 'Chopin and his Europe' in Warsaw, including appearances alongside Martha Argerich and Maria João Pires. He has also appeared many times with Frans Brüggen's Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century and the Orchestre des Champs-Elysées and Philippe Herreweghe. He has made over forty recordings, including the soundtracks to Roman Polanski's The Pianist and Andrzej Żuławski's La note bleu. Among his many recordings for the Fryderyk Chopin Institute, particularly notable is the recently finished complete set of mazurkas on period instrument. He has been decorated with the Officer's Cross of the Rebirth of Poland (2000), the 'Gloria Artis' Gold Medal (2005) and 'Fryderyk' awards (eight times).

Piotr Paleczny
Piotr Paleczny – one of the most outstanding Polish pianists. A graduate from the class of  Prof. Jan Ekier at the College of Music in Warsaw. Also influential in shaping his artistic personality were Arthur Rubinstein and Witold Lutosławski. A prize-winner of several international competitions, including Third Prize and special prize for the best polonaise in the 8th Chopin Competition. He has performed with the Chicago, American and BBC symphony orchestras, the Concertgebouw, Royal Philharmonic, Yomiuri Nippon, Gewandhaus, Tonhalle, Santa Cecilia and RAI orchestras, the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Mexico, Orquesta Nacional de España and Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Argentina, the Warsaw Philharmonic and the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra. He has appeared at such prestigious venues as the Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall and UN General Assembly Hall (New York), Suntory Hall (Tokyo), Berlin Philharmonic, Gewandhaus (Leipzig), Teatro Colón (Buenos Aires), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Musikverein (Vienna), Royal Festival Hall (London) and Festspielhaus (Salzburg). He has given masterclasses in Europe, both Americas, Asia and Australia. He is also an esteemed juror of competitions, including in Warsaw, Leeds, Paris, London, Cleveland, Toronto, Seoul, Moscow, Montreal, Tel Aviv, Santander, Tokyo, Prague, Hamamatsu, Sendai, Geneva, Weimar, Takamatsu and Manchester. Besides Chopin, he has recorded music by Lutosławski, Paderewski, Szymanowski, Mussorgsky, Brahms, Mozart and Balakirev. His disc The Best of Fryderyk Chopin with the Prima Vista Quartet won a 'Fryderyk' award (1999) and a platinum disc (2002). In 1998, the President of Poland conferred on him the title of Professor. His distinctions include the Commander's Cross of the Order of the Rebirth of Poland, the Mexican Order of the Águila Azteca and the Gold Medal of the 'Gloria Artis' order of merit. Since 1993, he has been artistic director of the Chopin Festival in Duszniki-Zdrój, and since 2004 head of the Paderewski International Piano Competition in Bydgoszcz. He teaches at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and is a member of the Programme Committee of the Fryderyk Chopin Institute. In August 2015, the Fryderyk Chopin Institute released, as part of its 'white series', a Piotr Paleczny disc of selected works by Chopin.

Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń
Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń – a Polish pianist of Bulgarian origins. She graduated from the piano class of Zbigniew Śliwiński at the State College of Music in Gdańsk. During the seventies, she enjoyed success in national and international competitions (incl. a distinction in the 9th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw). An experienced piano teacher, she is currently a professor and head of the piano department at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. Her students have won numerous prizes in national and international competitions. She has given masterclasses in Poland, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, China and elsewhere. She has been a juror of competitions at home and abroad. She has performed in many countries. She is also fond of chamber repertoire, performing with Urszula Kryger, Piotr Kusiewicz and the Camerata Quartet, among others. Her performances and recordings have been well received by critics and audiences alike. She has recorded for Accord Musidisc, Art Records, CD Accord and also the Fryderyk Chopin Institute (Chopin's Preludes). For her achievements in the field of music, she has received many state decorations, including the Gold Medal of the 'Gloria Artis' order of merit and the Officer's Cross of the Order of the Rebirth of Poland.

Wojciech Świtała
Wojciech Świtała is a graduate from the class of Józef Stompel at Katowice Academy of Music. In the years 1991–1996, he honed his pianistic skills with Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Andre Dumortier and Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden. He is a prize-winner of international piano competitions in Paris (the Long-Thibaud) and Montreal. He was the best Polish participant in the 12th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, when he received the prize for the best performance of a polonaise and a number of hors concours prizes. He has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in most countries of Europe and in countries of both Americas. He has appeared in concert with most Polish symphony orchestras, the Silesian, Camerata and Royal string quartets and the Aukso Orchestra, as well as the violinists Szymon Krzeszowiec and Piotr Pławner and the soprano Ewa Iżykowska. He has recorded up to twenty discs for Polskie Nagrania, Bearton, DUX, Sony Music Polska and IMC, with music by Brahms, Liszt, Schumann, Debussy, Chopin, Szymanowski and Zarębski. In 2000 and 2005, his discs twice won the Grand Prix du Disque Frédéric Chopin, and in 2002 and 2009 he won a 'Fryderyk' award from the Polish music industry. Since 1998, he has also pursued pedagogic work. From 2008 to 2012, he was deputy vice-chancellor for learning and didactics at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, where he has been head of the Piano Department since 2012. He has been a juror of the Long-Thibaud (Paris) and Paderewski (Bydgoszcz) international competitions, the Polish Chopin Competition in Warsaw and many others. In 2014, he was appointed to the Programme Committee of the Fryderyk Chopin Institute. His recordings for the Institute include Chopin's Preludes on period instrument, which received the highest mark from BBC Classic, and the Ballades in the 'white series'.
